Several other fish in the same family are called trout; thedifference is often said to be that salmon migrate and trout are resident, butthis distinction does not strictly hold true. 鲈鱼:weever

They are long (up to 37 cm), mainly brown andhave poisonous spines on their first dorsal fin and gills. Weevers are unusualin not having a swim bladder as do most bony fish and as a result sink as soonas they stop actively swimming. Weevers are sometimes used as an ingredient inthe recipe for bouillabaisse.Weevers are sometimes erroneously called 'weaverfish', although the word is unrelated. In fact, the word 'weever' is believed toderive from the Old French word 'wivre', meaning serpent or dragon, from theLatin 'vipera'. It is sometimes also known as the viperfish, although it is notrelated to the viperfish proper (i.e., the stomiids of the genusChauliodus).
